The environment of Northern Europe is very diverse and includes many mountainous landscapes, many rolling hills and highlands that are covered in forest from the forested countryside and the mediterranean coast as well. Norway is the main Sami region which I will explain on this page.
In Norway the coastline is actually very rugged and is considered to be one of the world's most rugged coastline. It has got some mountains, together only forming a single range. But as it happens it is interesting to know that Norway has developed a lot since the Ice Age, in which it was a thick sheet of ice, but gradually it carved out deep valleys and later the seas filled these valleys. In this mountain range a few amount of glaciers are still situated without any serious threat. Near the bottom of the page I have inserted a map of Norway that indicates where the main or most populous region of this vast tribe is situated in these specific areas.
